2009.10.24. We drove ~2 hrs south-west to visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Initially we planned to visit 17 Mile Drive as well, but the weather report lied. It was extremely cloudy when we got there so we just stayed at the aquarium. Definitely a big aquarium with lots to see though - it actually took us the whole day! The seahorse/seadragon exhibit was my favorite! The birds that you see in the middle of this gallery are all injured birds that can't fly so the aquarium takes care of them. :) They're really cute!
